We grind exotic herbal plants before supercritical or classical extraction.
Activity until now, resumed to grinding of exotic herbal plants before supercritical or classical extraction, however, in order to treat large volumes of excipients, we just installed several fluidised jet mills in the cleanroom-environment (ISO8), cloakrooms and supervision system (SCADA). Good energy supply with our own electric transformer of 1000 kVA. 264 kW will be used for our oil free Atlas Copco compressors.
Herbal plants

We’ve got two independent workshops dedicated to this activity.
It’s important with a careful sorting of the goods. If the raw material is contaminated with different herbs or other foreign bodies, the extraction process brings out wrong molecules.
Our clients prefer to import entire herbs to avoid potential fraud and to be able to identify and analyse them before grinding. The herbs must be ground just in time to avoid losses of active substances.

A correct particle size distribution is important. Fine dust clog the filters in the extraction process; meanwhile coarse powder makes the extraction less efficient.

With diverse powder processing services, and 23 independent workshops, AFT is your ideal outsourcing partner.
